The Bible:
We believe every word of the Bible to be true. We believe that it is inspired by the Holy Spirit and written using men that were chosen by God.
Sin:
We are all guilty of sin. Sin separates us from God and keeps us from having a relationship with God.
Jesus:
Jesus is God with skin on. He was 100% God and 100% man at the same time. He was born to the virgin Mary. He lived a perfect and sinless life here on earth. He died, he was buried, and he resurrected from the dead. He is now in Heaven awaiting the day that He is coming back for His people.
Salvation:
Salvation is a gift from God, it is not based on the good things you do, your church attendance, or your giving. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus and is provided through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. There is only one way to Heaven. John 14:6, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Christian Mission:
It is the job of all followers of Christ to share the saving truth of the Gospel. Christians are to follow the active words in the great commission.
- Go (out into the world)
- Make Disciples
- Baptize (Those that believe)
- Teach them
End Times: Jesus came the first time as a sacrificial Lamb of God. There will be a rapture of the Church. There will be a second coming when Jesus arrives a second time, this time as a conquering King. There will be a millennial reign of Jesus Christ on earth. Followers of Christ will spend eternity with God in Heaven and those that do not believe will face an eternity in Hell.
