A typical Sunday morning:
Join us on a Sunday morning and grab some free coffee before Sunday School.
Sunday School: 9:15 A.M. Sunday school is a great time for people to learn with one another. It is not a lecture-style class, instead it is very interactive. If you enjoy talking about the Bible and learning with fellow Christians you will love Sunday School.
Classes to choose from:
- Co-ed Multigenerational Class (Adults / Teens)
- Men’s Class
- Women’s Class
- Children’s Class (3-6 years)
- Nursery (Infant – 2 Years)
Sunday school ends at 10:15 A.M. and gives people time to catch up and converse with one another.
Sunday Service: 10:30 A.M.
Music: We love to sing together. We typically sing about 5 songs each Sunday. We use a “blended” style of worship where we typically open and close the service with a classic hymn of the faith and will also play 2 or 3 songs you may have heard on K-love or Family Life Network.
Scripture Reading: We have a dedicated time where one of our deacons will lead the congregation in a scripture reading. This is part of our worship service and helps us get our hearts and minds focused on the Word of God and ready to hear from the Holy Spirit.
Sermon: My goal is to teach the Bible in a way that is exciting, passionate, and most importantly sticks to the truth of the text. A professor of mine always told me that we should never bore anyone with the truths of God’s Word. I believe that lives and eternal destinations are changed through the scriptures. You will want to bring your Bible, if you don’t have one we would love to give one to you. I typically preach out of the ESV version.
Family Atmosphere: You will quickly notice that many people stick around and chat with one another. We are truly a church family. We care about one another, we pray for one another, and we are invested in the lives of one another. We would love for you to be a part of our family.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What should I wear? Wear what you are comfortable wearing to church. You will see people dressed in blue jeans and a tee shirt, flannel shirts, and some in a suit and tie. Our Pastors typically wear jeans and a button-up the front collared shirt.
What Bible translation should I bring? Our pastors typically preach out of the English Standard Version (ESV) and that is the translation that will be on the screen during the sermon but our congregation brings many different versions. If you don’t have a Bible, feel free to grab one, we provide them free to keep at the welcome desk.
Where should I park? Pull into the back parking lot and you will be greeted by a parking attendant who will make sure you find a good spot. There is also parking available on the side of the road.
Is there child care? We have a nursery (ages 0-2) available during Sunday School (9:15 and Sunday Service (10:30 AM). During the Sunday Service (10:30 AM), Kids 3-12 years old stay with their families for the singing of songs and scripture reading and then leave right before the sermon to go to Jr. Church. We have both a (3-7-year-old class) and (8-12-year-old class). Parents are welcome to keep their kids with them throughout the service if they so choose. Sunday School: There is a nursery (0-2 years) and a children’s Sunday school class for 3-8-year-olds.
